Job Description- Fitness Center ReceptionistResponsible To: Fitness Center ManagerJob PurposeThe Receptionist plays a critical role in providing a first-class experience to members, prospective members & visitors. Together with other members of the team the receptionists will be the first point of contact for enquiries, complaints & questions.Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to all members, non-members & users of the faculty. Enrolling new members & assisting current members with their queries. Greeting members & users of the gym. Converting Leads and prospective customers to members. Checking in members and verifying memberships. Providing information on classes & availability, handling questions. Ensuring adequate stocks of information, packs & leaflets are available at reception for interested parties. Taking transaction money for activities & accurately accounting of the same at the end of each shift. Welcoming members & visitors to the gym & providing accurate information concerning programmes, classes & activities. Creating an excellent first impression of the gym by providing warm welcome, tidy appearance & pleasant manner all the times Handling telephone enquiries, recording messages from incoming and pitch, sales calls. Recording and keeping clear & accurate records of all queries, complaints, lost property & repairs & ensuring the information is delegated and resolved. Cashing up & banking at the end of each shift & ensuring that shift are balanced accurately completing relevant documentation. Flexible enough to undertake other duties of similar professional nature.Qualification: Graduate from any stream. Should be having basic knowledge of gym, gym equipment's, fitness related knowledge. Communication skills have to be exceptional.Additional Information: Friendly & approachable with an outgoing personality. Cooperative, positive & optimistic Excellent customer service skills
