Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled professional with strong knowledge of the fabrication industry, specializing in mild steel and stainless steel fabrication, prefabricated structures, heavy fabrication, and equipment manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to prepare technical documentation, costing sheets, and project reports.Key Responsibilities Oversee fabrication activities for mild steel and stainless steel items. Manage prefabricated structure assembly and heavy fabrication projects. Supervise equipment manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and compliance with standards. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, fabrication drawings, and costing sheets. Use MS Word and Excel to create reports, comparative tables, and project tracking sheets. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards. Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of fabrication processes in MS & SS materials. Experience in prefabricated structures and heavy fabrication projects. Familiarity with equipment manufacturing workflows. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for documentation and reporting. Ability to read and interpret fabrication and assembly drawings. Strong organizational and communication skills. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 37 years of experience in fabrication and equipment manufacturing. Prepare clear, compliant technical proposals.Engineering Estimation Skills Strong ability to prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing sheets.Skilled in Word, Excel and process autocad drawings.Effective Vendor & Client Coordination Ability to analyze tender requirements, evaluate risks, and propose optimized solutions.Negotiation Skills Finalizing vendor prices and supporting sales negotiations.Time Management Handling multiple tenders/proposals simultaneously with deadlines.2. KnowledgeProcess Knowledge Understanding of STP, ETP, ZLD, RO, Softener, WTP & UFStandards & Regulations Awareness of IS/ISO, CPHEEO, PCB norms, and client-specific technical standards.Tendering Procedures Familiarity with government e-tender portals, BOQ formats, and compliance documentation.Costing & Estimation Knowledge of material, equipment, labor, subcontracting, and O&M costing.Project Lifecycle Awareness of design, procurement, execution, and O&M phases.

Qualification : BE / Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation.Should be fluent in Spoken & Written English, Spoken HindiKnowledge of Spoken Marathi will be an added advantageShould be able to communicate effectively both with external as well as the internal Customers.Should be able to work efficiently on MS Office Programmes like Word, Excel and Outlook at a reasonably goodspeedShould be a good learner , enough to acquire the Product knowledge in the course of training period.Should be able to acquire in the course of training period , an adequate working knowledge of Commercial termsand conditions, commercial documentation, Taxes etc.Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding customer's technical requirements (over Phone or email) and selecting a Product or Servicesuitable for that customerProviding Support to Field Sales team , Product cost estimation and submitting the Proposals to the CustomerOrder receipt and Order Processing.
