They are responsible for production planning, managing factory staff, optimizing workflows, and strictly enforcing food safety and quality standards (such as HACCP and ISO) to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective daily operationsLocation Baddi Himachal PradeshEssential QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.Experience: 8+ years of production experience with a minimum of 6 years in a managerial or supervisory role within the FMCG or food processing industry.Certifications: Mandatory or highly preferred familiarity with compliance systems like HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSAI.Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production management tools.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, supply chain forecasts, and plant capacity.Quality & Compliance Assurance: Ensure all manufactured food meets statutory regulatory standards (e.g., FSSAI, ISO, and HACCP) by strictly monitoring hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Team Leadership: Train, manage, and mentor floor staff, chefs, and machine operators while assigning daily duties and ensuring safety protocols are continuously met.Workflow Optimization: Drive continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste, minimize equipment downtime, and lower production costs.Supply Chain & Inventory: Coordinate with procurement teams to guarantee a steady supply of raw materials and oversee inventory levels of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.Reporting & Maintenance: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and prepare MIS reports to present to upper management.
