Job Description

we are urgently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated senior production manager who has spent 5 to 10 years in the manufacturing of railway bogie frames and bogie

assemblies. the ideal candidate should possess deep domain expertise, hands-on shop floor management experience, and strong leadership qualities to streamline production

processes and ensure timely delivery with uncompromised quality standards.

key responsibilities:

● lead and oversee the production line for railway bogie frames and bogie assemblies.

● ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.

● coordinate with design, planning, and quality teams to maintain seamless production flow.

● optimize production schedules and resource utilization to meet delivery timelines.

● troubleshoot technical and operational issues on the shop floor.

● monitor and improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of the production line.

● train and supervise junior engineers and shop floor staff.

● maintain compliance with railway industry norms and regulatory requirements.

● prepare and present production reports and suggest improvements for continuous process enhancement.

candidate requirements:

● diploma / / . in mechanical engineering or related field.

● mandatory: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing railway bogie frames and bogie assemblies.

● strong understanding of railway production standards and specifications.

● proven leadership skills with the ability to manage shop floor teams and production targets.

● experience in lean manufacturing, 5s, or six sigma is an added advantage.

● strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

● excellent communication and coordination abilities
