This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role has a couple of years experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.A Production Supervisor is directly responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment, staff, and processes on a production floor. They will oversee scheduling and routine production activities as well as acting as the first line of support for troubleshooting should problems arise. Operates controls to regulate temperature, pressure, speed and flow of operation. Measures and loads materials, items and ingredients for mixing into machines and feeding mechanisms. Monitors operation, regulates material supply and adds chemicals and colorants to mixture.*Key Responsibilities:-Responsible for the production and quality of products, completing daily reports for production and payroll reporting purposes. -Monitor closely of the production processes and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality and production efficiency.-Responsible for maintaining/enforcing safe working conditions, and ensuring that all Environmental Health and Safety - Schedules and directs leads, utilities, and mold changers in the Molding Department. - Works with production control to obtain molding requirements. -Monitors production, inventory, and minimizes scrap in the department.
