The candidates will be responsible for preparing accurate plumbing drawings, layouts, and documentation for building projects while coordinating with other MEP disciplines and ensuring drawings comply with project requirements and applicable standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed 2D plumbing drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.Develop plumbing layouts for water supply, drainage, soil and waste systems.Prepare sanitary, storm-water and rainwater drainage layouts.Prepare pipe routing, shaft layouts, riser diagrams, and schematic drawings.Develop detailed drawings for plumbing fixtures and equipment.Prepare plumbing drawings based on architectural and engineering requirements.Coordinate plumbing layouts with HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, and Architectural drawings.Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues before finalizing drawings.Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, clients, and project teams.Prepare detailed sections, elevations, and enlarged layouts wherever required.Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations, and drawing revisions.Assist engineers in preparing BOQ, quantity take-offs, and material schedules when required.Ensure drawings are issued within project timelines and maintain proper document control.Coordinate with the site team and incorporate site requirements or approved changes into drawings.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of AutoCAD and plumbing drafting.Good understanding of building plumbing systems.Knowledge of water supply and drainage systems.Ability to read and understand architectural and MEP drawings.Good knowledge of pipe sizes, fittings, plumbing fixtures, and routing.Understanding of plumbing shafts, risers, and service coordination.Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM will be an added advantage.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with the MEP design team.Candidate ProfilePosition 1 - Junior Plumbing DrafterExperience: 1 year of relevant experience.Gender-FemaleFreshers with strong AutoCAD knowledge may also be considered.Good knowledge of basic plumbing drafting and AutoCAD.Should be willing to learn and work closely with senior engineers/drafters.Position 2 - Senior Plumbing DrafterExperience: Approximately 10 years of relevant experience. Gender- MaleStrong experience in building plumbing drafting and MEP coordination.Should be capable of independently handling plumbing drawings for projects.Should have good knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably Revit MEP.Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and site teams will be preferred.EducationDiploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related engineering field is preferred.Key QualitiesStrong technical understanding.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to meet deadlines.Attention to detail.Problem-solving ability.Team-oriented and professional approach.Note: Candidates should have practical experience in building plumbing drafting and MEP coordination. Job description / responsibilities / work profile: Evaluate customer inquiries & specifications and study all inputs available for a product or design problem. Design equipment to match specifications; includes concept creation, detailed design, design calculations, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials (BOM) and product related technical documents. Establish design approach, estimate time for execution and schedule the activities. Refine and improve product designs by evaluating current designs and developing new solutions. Assembly, Testing and Qualification of SPM machines for Industrial automation. Ability to design the machines independently. Hands-on experience developing design concepts and engineering solutions using a 3D software tool like Solidworks, Solidedge. Knowledge of Pneumatic/Hydraulic/Hydro-pneumatic machines, servo presses, assembly line and conveyors. Knowledge of drafting. Estimation and costing.Requirements Good Communication skill- written as well as verbal. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada (at least to speak) Fluent in MS word, Excel and PPT Self- motivated and a team player Good interpersonal skillsLocation: Peenya industrial Estate, Bangalore (the candidate should be ready to relocate).Education: Diploma in Mechanical / BE / MTechExperience: 4 to 8 years.
