Job DescriptionHuman Resources Head has to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. He will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.He should be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments and should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mind-set.The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.We have TWO Paper / Paper Board and Paper Conversion manufacturing plants. All these plants are located in two sites, which are in vicinity of around 2 kilometres of each other. The location is near the City of Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Both these facilities put together employ close to 450 work force, including Contractor employees. We have our Corporate Office at Pune, which is primarily houses Sales and Corporate Services departments. Skills and Responsibilities Human Resource Head will be responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized. Therefore, his essential job responsibilities include: Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systemsJob Profile To meet the above mentioned responsibilities, he has to involve achieving the following tasks: Develop/ Review/ Update corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc. Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc. Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics Supervise the work of HR
