Checking guests in and out.Receiving and managing reservations made online and telephonically.Verifying guests payment methods during check-in.Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel.Organizing transport services for guests at their request.Providing guests with information about the hotel.Keeping abreast of attractions that may be of interest to guests.Serving as a host at conferences and ensuring that all relevant preparations are made for the event.
1. Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotels in the area and manage day to day yield operations.2. Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.3. Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.4. Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.5. Provide weekly dynamic forecasts of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.6. Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary reports with recommendations to improve long term strategies.7. Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity8. Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department.9. Ensure hotel personnel is fully competent in the use of all systems10. Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team.11. Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc) points.12. Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA)13. Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.14. Visit the hotels to get first-hand knowledge of all revenue management issues and other key areas.15. Any other reasonable requests made by management
