Job OverviewWe are hiring a Business Development Manager Export Services who will be responsible for educating Indian exporters, explaining our export service plans, and converting them into clients.This role is not export sales or buyer handling.It is a consultative B2B service sales role, ideal for candidates who can communicate, explain value, and build trust with exporters. JOB Responsibilities1. Communication with overseas customers regarding shipment & Schedule.2. Planning the export shipment according to customers schedules.3. Co-ordination with production/planning department and shipping companies for execution of export shipments.4. Preparation of Export Invoices and other documents and tracking of export shipments till delivery at customer end.5. Information to customers about shipments and document and follow up with export customers for payments.6. Co-ordination with bank for export and import remittance.7. Arrange of import shipments from suppliers end to factory as per shipment terms.8. Verification of Import documents as per Indian Customs norms and online payment of customs duty.9. Documentation for various incentives from Customs, DGFT and other authorities.10. Documentation for EPCG Licenses from DGFT & Documentation with EEPC ( Engineering Export Promotion Council)11. Documentation of duty free re-imports and re-export shipments in case of rejection and return from overseas customers. 12. Submission of Proof of export documents with the bankers and follow up with the bankers for BRCs and timely closure of Inward and Outward remittances. 13. Preparation of Domestic / Local Invoices and other documents and also following up with local customers for collection of outstanding and other issues.14. Reporting to ED at Factory and Corporate office at Mumbai. Requirements:1) The ideal Candidate will be fluent in English and able to communicate with the banks and foreign customers efficiently. He must be an expert in IMPORT and EXPORT documentation, coordinating with shipping companies and transporters.
