Job Description:Mithra Institute of Management Studies (MIMS) is seeking Academic Counselors to guide prospective students in choosing the right academic programs and ensure a smooth admission process.Key Responsibilities:Counsel students and parents about the institutes programs, eligibility, and career prospects.Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations.Guide students through the admission process, documentation, and application formalities.Maintain and update student records in the CRM system.Collaborate with the admissions and marketing team to achieve enrollment targets.Organize and participate in educational events, webinars, and career counseling sessions.Follow up with potential students to ensure high conversion rates.

Admissions officers evaluate applications from prospective students interested in attending a college, university, or other educational institution. They handle the intake, processing, evaluation, and determinations of submitted applications

Responsible for - Counsel students regarding abroad education opportunities such as regarding Country, Course, Universities, program selection, and career planning. Provide accurate information regarding the study abroad programs, courses, colleges and universities and countries like the USA, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Singapore, Malta, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Rest of Europe), Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Mauritius. Provide all the information sought precisely by the parent and/or student. Clarifying doubts in filling up of form or doubts of any other nature. Share in detail about the course for abroad Education i.e. for PHD and Post PHD (all stream). Ensure student leaves with positive word of mouth which can bring more clients and increase referrals. Stay updated about the various study abroad programs offered by College/universities and use the knowledge in helping students. Help students with every detail from registration to flying to the host country. Maintain a proper database of students counselled, and applications sent abroad. Receive client details and judge the suitability of the candidate for the course and university of his/her choice and accordingly give guidance. Assisting with activities to promote Universities represented by the Company. Analyse the mindset of the students who are interested in abroad education and Motivate and encourage clients to take up the course. Should have excellent interpersonal skills, and presentation skills and should be confident enough in speaking with students Should be comfortable in promoting International study abroad programmes to parents
