a business development sales counselor plays a crucial role in enhancing a company's growth by overseeing the entire sales lifecycle, from initial engagement to the ultimate conversion . enrollment in the program. this position involves engaging with parents or adult learners who have participated in a demo class and experienced the product. the counselor conducts thorough video counseling sessions, guiding decision-makers towards informed decisions leading to a purchase.
selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
2. call 140-250 leads every day
3. set up meetings with potential clients
4. generate trial classes, demos, and assessments by pitching parents to take our program and ai-powered career assessments
5. negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
6. follow and achieve the department's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis (3l revenue per month)
7. go the extra mile to drive sales
8. use the right sales strategy and accomplish 1 lac of revenue in 3 months, thus achieving a license to sell (l-2-s)
