The CorelDRAW Designer will create and convert 2D vector designs into high-precision, cut-ready profiles for high-power fiber laser machines. This role requires a solid understanding of sheet metal properties, vector path optimization, lead-in/lead-out placements, micro-joints/tabs, sheet nesting, and standard CAD/CAM export formats (.DXF, .DWG).Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop 2D CAD/vector profiles in CorelDRAW for decorative metal screens (Jalis), gates, safety doors, railings, and industrial sheet metal parts.Convert client sketches, PDFs, architectural drawings, and raster photos into clean, closed-path vector geometry without redundant nodes or overlapping lines.Prepare files with proper kerf allowance, lead-in/lead-out points, and micro-joints (tabs) to prevent small metal cutouts from tilting and colliding with the laser nozzle.Perform efficient sheet nesting on standard metal sheet sizes (e.g., 8x4 ft, 5x10 ft) to minimize scrap and maximize material yield on SS, MS, and Aluminum sheets.Export and inspect clean, scale-accurate .DXF and .DWG files free of broken polylines, open loops, or double lines.Collaborate with fiber laser machine operators to review cut sequence, gas selection (Oxygen/Nitrogen/Air), pierce points, and sheet thickness constraints (0.8 mm to 20+ mm).Verify critical dimensions and tolerances in millimeters (mm) prior to sending files to the production.
