This role requires a strong focus on driving revenue growth, developing the sales team, strengthening distributor/dealer networks, and achieving sales targets in alignment with the companys strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.Forecast monthly/quarterly/annual sales and prepare business plans for the region.Team ManagementLead, mentor, and motivate the Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Sales Officers (SOs), and field staff.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and ensure skill development.Business DevelopmentExpand market presence by identifying new business opportunities, distributors, and retailers.Strengthen relationships with key customers, channel partners, and stakeholders.Channel & Distribution ManagementMonitor primary and secondary sales to ensure healthy product movement.Ensure proper stock management, order booking, and timely collections.Implement trade schemes and promotional activities in the region.Market IntelligenceTrack competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.Provide regular feedback and insights to senior management.Reporting & CompliancePrepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and MIS.Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and ethical business practices.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Excellent knowledge of distribution and channel management.Ability to analyze data, sales trends, and market potential.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.High energy level, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset.Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.812 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in FMCG / Dairy / Food & Beverages.Proven track record of managing regional sales teams and achieving sales targets.Experience in handling distributors, modern trade, and institutional sales will be an added advantage.CompensationCompetitive salary package with performance-based incentives.
