The primary purpose to work with the Senior Pricing Analyst to help the technical pricing element of our Financial Lines and Specialty business placed in the London Market. Role & responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, and relevant contract documents.Perform quantity take-offs for construction subtrades such as concrete, masonry, flooring, drywall, painting, and site work.Utilize estimating software to calculate areas, lengths, and volumes of different building components as needed.Apply labour / material rates to quantity take-offs given by estimating manager to calculate final project costs.Liaise with general contractors / project owner to get clarifications.
