Key Responsibilities:Quality System Development: Create, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS), policies, standards, and procedures. Product Inspection and Testing: Oversee and conduct inspections, tests, and measurements of raw materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure they meet specified standards. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify areas for improvement, track performance, and generate reports for management and other stakeholders. Process Monitoring: Supervise the production process to ensure it remains consistent and reliable, identifying and addressing any deviations from quality standards. Problem-Solving: Investigate quality issues and customer complaints to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions. Staff Training: Train production staff, inspectors, and technicians on quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices to enhance the overall quality of products. Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to health, safety, and product quality. Supplier Quality: Work with purchasing and other departments to establish quality requirements for suppliers and monitor their compliance. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality checks, audit findings, and other relevant quality-related documentation. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement (CI), implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
