Facilitates planning and development of quality control systems for specified products or processes. Collaborates with teams of engineers and product specialists at vendors end to ensure customer and division quality requirements are met. Visit vendors for pre delivery inspection. Periodic checking of Tools and Dies with vendors for their intended use. Monitor proper maintenance of tool life records. Developing and implementing quality control systems. Reviews design, manufacturing, and testing documentation. Coordinates and performs inspections of raw materials and finished products, applying appropriate quality assurance testing models. Tabulate and document data relating to products, processes, materials, its qualities and reliabilities. Also prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management. Identifies the root cause of quality problems, and coordinates modifications or other corrective actions. Report NC for both from customers and at vendor end. Offers technical guidance and support in response to quality testing and analysis. Ensures contract compliance by reviewing and approving quality requirements for supplier purchase orders, manufacturing, and other related services.
