The primary focus of this position is to manage procurement activities effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet quality and cost criteria, establishing positive relationships for ongoing support.- Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.- Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends to achieve the best pricing and terms for purchased goods, ensuring budget compliance.- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming materials and ensure they meet company standards before they are accepted into inventory.- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory levels to facilitate smooth operations.Required Skills and Expectations:- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) is essential, providing a strong technical foundation.- Strong analytical skills to evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts effectively.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with suppliers and team members.- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and materials management is preferred.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail.The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and eager to learn within a dynamic work environment.
