Profile - Purchase Engineer (EPC Background)Competency required: Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical EngineeringExperience: 4-8 years in EPC company & Contract is mandatory)Gender: Male (Candidate who is ready for extensive travelling only need to apply )PlanningIdentify tender from various sources.Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.Assist to management to finalized tender/bid cost.Identify tools & materials list from tender.Identify and develop vendor, contractor and supplier accordingly.Set up procurement system.Attract quotations.Do comparison of vendor related to rate and time of supply.Make transport plan for site delivery.DocumentationMaintain record of all tender or project.Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.Prepare and maintain purchase and supply history.Develop purchase records and vendors MIS.Co-ordinationCoordinate with consultant, clients, vendors, and other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates.Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.Participate in strategic meetings with important decision makers.ExecutionMonitor execution status with projection cost.Provide support to minimize the cost.ReportingPrepare and present analyze report of each tender, bid and project.Prepare and present qualitative and quantitative report on procurement.Prepare and present periodically comparative report on projection cost and project development statusOtherAs per Management guideline.
