Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability

Should have experience of sourcing Project Purchase items, Able to purchase Engineering items like Pumps, Gearboxes, Seals & Project

Strong ability to continuously develop CAPEX parts supplier, particularly for Plant expansions in chemical & paints industry

Good understanding of Engineering drawing & design

Direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions

Drive vendor management based on threshold / liability type and Procure to Pay (P2P) process

Initiate and support the tendering process on a local level as mandated by Project Team

Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements

Solid understanding of contract terms, negotiation skills and price tracking abilities are required in this role.

Need to Travel to different Plant as need arises

Qualifications:

(Chemical) /.(Chem)/. (Chem) + MBA

Desired profile:

Must have worked for the project of Chemical/ Specialty Chemical
