This is a full-time position suitable for individuals with 0 to 3 years of experience.Key Responsibilities:1. Blood Collection: Perform venipunctures and capillary draws accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient comfort and care during the procedure.2. Patient Interaction: Communicate with patients to explain the blood collection process, answer questions, and alleviate any fears to enhance their experience.3. Sample Handling: Label and store collected samples correctly, ensuring they are transported to the laboratory promptly to maintain their integrity.4. Hygiene and Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict hygiene protocols and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment for both patients and staff.5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of blood samples collected, including patient details and any special instructions for the laboratory.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must have completed at least the 12th grade and possess strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills. - Collect and tag specimens exactly as outlined in each medical requisition- Develop effective collection techniques as they relate to groups such as pediatric andgeriatric patients.- Properly package each specimen and ensure that every specimen is delivered to thelaboratory on time or Handover to runner on the time.- Maintain an organized and clean work area based on state health laws and theguidelines of our medical organization- Answer patient questions regarding collection techniques and offer additional resourceson the collection process if a patient requests them- Must know about proper disposable of Biomedical Waste Management- Should know about Pre-analytical error and how its prevent.- Should know about Complication management- Should Know about spill Management- Able to collect both Method Close system(Vacutainer) and Open System(Syringe)Eligibility Criteria/ Qualification:Phlebotomist qualifications and skills- Education, previous job experience, certifications and technical skills.- Should also include soft skills and personality traits that you expect from a successfulcandidate.
