- collect and tag specimens exactly as outlined in each medical requisition

- develop effective collection techniques as they relate to groups such as pediatric and

geriatric patients.

- properly package each specimen and ensure that every specimen is delivered to the

laboratory on time or handover to runner on the time.

- maintain an organized and clean work area based on state health laws and the

guidelines of our medical organization

- answer patient questions regarding collection techniques and offer additional resources

on the collection process if a patient requests them

- must know about proper disposable of biomedical waste management

- should know about pre-analytical error and how it’s prevent.

- should know about complication management

- should know about spill management

- able to collect both method close system(vacutainer) and open system(syringe)

eligibility criteria/ qualification:

phlebotomist qualifications and skills

- education, previous job experience, certifications and technical skills.

- should also include soft skills and personality traits that you expect from a successful

candidate. while it may be tempting to include a long list of skills and requirements,

- cmlt/ / mlt /phlebotomy certify diploma/graduate 1-4 years total

experience (blood / urine body fluid)

- excellent hindi and english communication skills

- soft skill

- grooming & etiquette

- communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)

- willingness to learn and adapt

- strong technical skills and an eye for detail
