Job Description:You are responsible for selling over the telephone a range of participation packages that includes event sponsorship, multi-event sponsorship, bundles of delegate tickets and exhibition stands to existing clients and new business prospects.Reporting to the Sales Director the role is to ensure that revenue targets of assigned events are achieved and exceeded where possible, through both personal sales & team sales efforts.Key Responsibilities:Secure exhibition booth and sponsorship revenueSell delegate tickets across a number of eventsTo meet or succeed monthly and yearly revenue targets by selling consistently to all possible targets; repeat delegates, new clients and prospectsTo convince the prospect of the benefits of our eventsOversee and take ownership of the sales process, including building and managing pipelines and reporting on all activitiesManage CRM & provide accurate sales pipeline report to management Be proactive in marketing, build & maintain relationships with existing clients while bringing in new businessMake at least 40 calls per day on average over a week the role requires significant time on the phone to contact clients and prospectsExcellent skills in writing proposals & strict follow upConduct competitive intelligenceFeed customer insights & market information to managementBe able to work extra hours as and when requiredRequirements:0 - 3 years' experience in a B2B sales environment, telesales or phone based marketingIdeally degree level educated, minimum A-levelConfident of generating new business leads from cold calling, personal research and industry networkingExcellent communication & negotiation skills and telephone mannerHighly motivated and organized with ability to manage multi-task in fast paced environmentIndependent, self-motivated, resilient, determined, assertive, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritising
