Key Responsibilities:- Manage Import Documentation: Prepare and verify all import documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations to ensure compliance with regulations.- Coordinate with Suppliers: Communicate with international suppliers to confirm orders, track shipment statuses, and resolve any outstanding issues that may arise during shipping.- Customs Clearance: Work closely with customs brokers to ensure that all goods are cleared through customs efficiently, complying with all import regulations and tariffs.- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all import transactions and maintain a database of suppliers and relevant documents for easy access and review.- Monitor Shipments: Track shipments and report on their status to ensure timely delivery, addressing any problems that might delay the arrival of goods.- Report Preparation: Prepare and submit regular reports about import activities and performance metrics to management for evaluation.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
