- The main responsibility of an Export and Import Executive is to foresee the movement of goods between the home country and other countries.- Coordination with DGFT, Ice gate Knowledge, Awareness of transportation rate and other coordination.- Coordinating and managing import and export operations to ensure smooth and efficient transactions for our client.- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and buyer.- Coordinate with supplier to ensure quality standards, and timely delivery.- Promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving any shipping-related issues.- Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions, including invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, and customs declarations.

The Candidate will be responsible for managing the Imports right from preparing Purchase Order , Correspondence with Shipper for Shipment, Approving the Import Docs, Checking the Status of Arrival of Containers, Noting of Docs, Release of Docs from Bank, Release of Cargo from Customs etc. Also the Candidate will be responsible for ensure the material is as per Contract and if any deviation correspond with Supplier.

Documentation Management:*Prepare, review, and process import and export documents(Commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, certificates of origin, and other required documents). Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, international trade laws, and customer requirements. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all shipping documentation, ensuring proper filing and archiving. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, shipping lines, airlines, and government authorities to obtain and exchange necessary documentation.Freight Forwarding Support:*Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and agents to coordinate shipping schedules, container bookings, and related logistics activities. Provide accurate shipment information to freight forwarders for efficient cargo routing and tracking. Collaborate with freight forwarders (B2B) to resolve documentation-related issues, shipment delays, and any customs-related challenges.Customer Service:*Communicate proactively with clients, providing timely updates on shipment status, documentation requirements, and any potential delays or issues. Assist clients in understanding import and export documentation requirements and provide guidance on customs processes, regulations, and compliance.Customs Compliance:*Stay updated on customs regulations, import/export laws, trade agreements, and any changes in documentation requirements. Ensure all import and export shipments comply with customs rules and regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, and country of origin requirements.*Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance and resolve any documentation-related issues or discrepancies.Process Improvement:*Identify opportunities to streamline documentation processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors.
