Junior Accountant responsibilities and duties :Assist with the preparation of financial statementsAnalyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgersPost journal entries for accrued expenses and revenueMaintain and record fixed assetsPrepare and file local compliance reporting as necessaryPrepare court-mandated annual accounting reports and inventories for client discharges as necessaryAct as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies

Roles and ResponsibilitiesShould have knowledge of basic accounting of Accounts Payable bills (Purchase related) and Accounts Receivable bills (Sales related).Should be able to verify, review the bills for further processing of payments and maintaining the verification registers for analysis.Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies & procedures of Internal Finance Controls.Sales quotation, invoice generation.Maintenance of daily reports on sales, purchases, customer payment receipts, and invoices.Should able to handle GST, ESI/PF, TDS filings & other statutory requirements with the help of a chartered accountant - (Fresher should be able to learn all this)General Office administration activitiesPreparing, organizing and storing information in paper and digital formPrinting and photocopyingOrdering office suppliesMaintaining office systemsHelping the HR TeamDesired Candidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or more.Good communication skills.Good team player, being active and enthusiastic to learn more.Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.Basic knowledge of GST.
