We are looking for a Warehouse Incharge to oversee our operations in North Guwahati. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high safety standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Supervise Warehouse Operations:** Oversee all operations within the warehouse, ensuring that activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes coordination of receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.- **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate records of stock levels and manage inventory control. This includes conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.- **Team Management:** Lead and support the warehouse staff. Provide training and guidance to ensure that team members follow procedures and best practices.- **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all safety protocols are followed within the warehouse. Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards promptly.- **Logistics Coordination:** Collaborate with logistics teams to schedule deliveries and ensure timely distribution of goods. This includes managing outbound shipments and transportation.- **Reporting:** Prepare and submit regular performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and other relevant KPIs.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for working with team members and other departments. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records. 1. Coordinate the transportation and delivery of raw materials, including bitumen and construction chemicals, from suppliers to warehouses or production facilities.2. Ensure timely and accurate shipment of finished goods to customers or distributors.3. Monitor inventory levels of bitumen, chemicals, and other related materials to ensure stock availability and avoid disruptions in production or order fulfillment.4. Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.5. Manage transportation logistics for bitumen and construction chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (e.g., hazardous material handling and transportation laws).6. Ensure that all shipments and deliveries are accompanied by necessary documentation, including shipping labels, material safety data sheets (MSDS), and customs paperwork if applicable.7. Oversee the safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous chemicals and materials to prevent accidents and ensure safety standards are met.8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, warehousing companies, and suppliers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of logistics operations.9. Ensure timely processing of customer orders and shipments, confirming order accuracy and stock availability.10. Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality and service standards.11. Proactively identify and resolve any logistics issues, such as shipment delays, transportation errors, or inventory discrepancies.12. Utilize logistics management software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track inventory, shipments, and transportation schedules.13. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their delivery status, provide solutions to any delivery-related issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
