We are looking for a Warehouse Incharge to oversee our operations in North Guwahati. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high safety standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Supervise Warehouse Operations:** Oversee all operations within the warehouse, ensuring that activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes coordination of receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.- **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate records of stock levels and manage inventory control. This includes conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.- **Team Management:** Lead and support the warehouse staff. Provide training and guidance to ensure that team members follow procedures and best practices.- **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all safety protocols are followed within the warehouse. Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards promptly.- **Logistics Coordination:** Collaborate with logistics teams to schedule deliveries and ensure timely distribution of goods. This includes managing outbound shipments and transportation.- **Reporting:** Prepare and submit regular performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and other relevant KPIs.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for working with team members and other departments. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records. A solid understanding of warehouse management software is preferred. Prior experience in a similar role would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
