As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output in our manufacturing facility located in Nashik. This is a full-time office role suited for fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience.Key Responsibilities:- Process Optimization: Identify and evaluate production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to overall productivity improvements.- Quality Control: Monitor production quality and implement quality assurance measures to ensure that products meet company and industry standards.- Technical Support: Provide support to production teams by troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring machinery operates smoothly.- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement, allowing for informed decision-making.- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as design and procurement, to ensure that production goals are met efficiently.- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production processes, equipment maintenance, and changes to ensure compliance with regulations.To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E) and a passion for manufacturing processes. Understanding lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Key Responsibilities & DutiesDesign, Modeling & Technical Documentation:Create precise 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo). Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and thermal/fluid evaluations to validate design performance and safety. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), engineering specifications, and technical documentation for production and procurement teams. Manufacturing Support & Process Optimization:Oversee the fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing of mechanical parts or machinery to ensure strict adherence to design specifications. Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Lean/5S principles to reduce production waste, scrap, and manufacturing costs. Monitor equipment performance, identify root causes of mechanical failures, and implement corrective or preventive actions (CAPA). Testing, Quality & Maintenance:Plan and execute prototype testing, trial runs, and quality inspections using precision measuring instruments. Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for plant machinery, utilities, and tools. Ensure 100% compliance with local factory rules, safety regulations (EHS), and ISO/ASME quality standards.
