Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Technical Support & Operational Execution:

Assist senior engineers in day-to-day shop-floor manufacturing, site operations, machinery setup, or chemical process monitoring.

Prepare and update basic technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), production logbooks, and inspection reports.

Perform quality checks, dimensional measurements using precision instruments (verniers, micrometers, gauges), or raw material sampling.

Design, Drafting & Process Monitoring:

Support engineering teams with basic 2D drafting, 3D CAD modeling updates, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, or process flowcharts under supervision.

Monitor equipment performance, record operational parameters, and report line breakdowns or process deviations promptly.

Quality Control & Preventive Maintenance:

Participate in 5S maintenance, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and quality defect logging (8D/Kaizen activities).

Assist maintenance personnel in carrying out routine preventive maintenance schedules for machines, tooling, or plant utilities.

Safety & Compliance:

Strictly follow plant safety guidelines, personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, and environmental health and safety (EHS) policies.

Attend all assigned technical training modules, safety drills, and skill development workshops.
