Key Responsibilities3D Modeling & 2D Drafting: Develop highly precise 3D part and assembly models using industry-standard CAD software. Convert these models into detailed, production-ready 2D manufacturing drawings with clear geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Structural & Simulation Analysis: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate stress, thermal expansion, fatigue, and fluid flow. Use this data to validate designs before physical prototyping.DFM & DFA Implementation: Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles. Ensure components can be realistically fabricated via CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal stamping, or casting with minimal waste.Material & Component Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate metals, plastics, or composites based on environmental stress, weight constraints, lifecycle, and cost. Research and source standard off-the-shelf components like bearings, seals, and fasteners.Prototyping & Testing: Build, inspect, and physically test functional prototypes. Document component failures, analyze root causes, and iterate designs to rectify structural or functional flaws.BOM Management: Create and maintain comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM), design change notices (ECN), and technical design files for smooth hand-off to the procurement and assembly floor teams.

This role is ideal for individuals with minor experience or recent graduates holding a diploma.Key Responsibilities:- Set Up CNC Machines: Prepare and configure CNC machines according to the specifications of the job, ensuring all tools and settings are correctly aligned.- Operate CNC Machines: Run CNC machines to produce precise components, monitoring the process to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality.- Inspect Finished Products: Regularly check the finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying any defects and making necessary adjustments.- Maintain Equipment: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them in good working condition, reporting any issues to the supervisor quickly.- Record Production Data: Document the production process, noting any deviations or issues encountered during the operation, to help improve efficiency.Required Skills and Expectations:- CNC operation knowledge is essential, with a strong understanding of machining principles and techniques being preferred.- Basic math skills are necessary for measurements and calculations.- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure product quality and reduce errors.- Good problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot machine issues independently.- Effective communication skills will be important for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
