Key Responsibilities & DutiesDesign, Modeling & Technical Documentation:Create precise 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo). Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and thermal/fluid evaluations to validate design performance and safety. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), engineering specifications, and technical documentation for production and procurement teams. Manufacturing Support & Process Optimization:Oversee the fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing of mechanical parts or machinery to ensure strict adherence to design specifications. Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Lean/5S principles to reduce production waste, scrap, and manufacturing costs. Monitor equipment performance, identify root causes of mechanical failures, and implement corrective or preventive actions (CAPA). Testing, Quality & Maintenance:Plan and execute prototype testing, trial runs, and quality inspections using precision measuring instruments. Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for plant machinery, utilities, and tools. Ensure 100% compliance with local factory rules, safety regulations (EHS), and ISO/ASME quality standards.
