Key Responsibilities:Network Design and Implementation:Design and implement local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking systems.Install and configure networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Hardware Installation and Maintenance:Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components such as servers, workstations, and peripherals.Conduct routine hardware maintenance to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues in a timely manner.Work with end-users to identify and troubleshoot hardware and network-related problems.Security:Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's computer systems and data.Monitor network security and respond to security incidents.Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network and hardware configurations.Keep inventory records of hardware and network equipment.Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT professionals, including system administrators, software developers, and support staff, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and network systems.Upgrades and Enhancements:Plan and execute hardware and network upgrades to meet evolving business requirements.Stay current with industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.Performance Monitoring:Monitor network performance and optimize configurations to ensure efficient data transmission.Implement performance tuning measures for hardware components.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Hardware and Network Engineer or a similar role.In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware components, and operating systems.Familiarity with security protocols and measures.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration
