The role involves working with airline reservation systems, coordinating with clients, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:Handle domestic and international flight bookingsIssue, reissue, and cancel air ticketsManage reservation systems like Amadeus GDS, Galileo GDS, or Sabre GDSProvide customers with flight schedules, fares, and travel informationAssist with visa, travel insurance, and itinerary planningHandle customer queries via phone, email, or in personCoordinate with airlines for seat availability and special requestsProcess refunds and handle ticket amendmentsMaintain booking records and documentationEnsure compliance with airline policies and regulationsAchieve sales targets (if applicable in travel agencies) Qualifications:Minimum: 12th Pass or GraduateDiploma or certification in Travel & Tourism / Aviation (preferred) Experience:Freshers can apply1-3 years experience preferred in ticketing or travel industry Skills Required:Knowledge of airline reservation systems (GDS)Good communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling)Attention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving and customer handling skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines Technical Skills:Ticketing software proficiency (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)Fare calculation and itinerary planningUnderstanding of airline codes and terminology Working Conditions:Rotational shifts (including weekends & holidays)Office-based or airport-based roleFast-paced work environment Salary Range (India):Fresher: 20,000 - 25,000 per monthExperienced: 25,000 - 70,000+ per month
