Job Description

● lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring effective project execution.

● develop and oversee design strategies, ensuring alignment with railway industry standards.

● drive product innovation, conceptualization, and execution of engineering projects.

● collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to optimize manufacturing processes.

● ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety norms, and quality standards.

● provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

● analyze and improve design methodologies to enhance product efficiency and costeffectiveness.

● manage engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

● work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and provide engineering solutions.

● oversee vendor and supplier coordination for engineering-related materials.

● monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

key requirements:

● bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering

● 10 to 15 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in the railway industry.

● strong expertise in design and product development.

● proficiency in engineering software such as autocad, solidworks, or other design tools.

● excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

● strong understanding of railway components, systems, and manufacturing processes.

● knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
