Job Description

● Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring effective project execution.

● Develop and oversee design strategies, ensuring alignment with railway industry standards.

● Drive product innovation, conceptualization, and execution of engineering projects.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to optimize manufacturing processes.

● Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety norms, and quality standards.

● Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

● Analyze and improve design methodologies to enhance product efficiency and costeffectiveness.

● Manage engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

● Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and provide engineering solutions.

● Oversee vendor and supplier coordination for engineering-related materials.

● Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Key Requirements:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

● 10 to 15 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in the railway industry.

● Strong expertise in design and product development.

● Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design tools.

● Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

● Strong understanding of railway components, systems, and manufacturing processes.

● Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.

● Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
