*key responsibilities:*

1. market research & analysis:

• identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the food trading and distribution industry.

• research and evaluate potential new markets, clients, and business opportunities.

2. client acquisition & relationship management:

• develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners.

• identify prospective clients, conduct sales meetings, and close deals to achieve sales targets.

• act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and feedback.

3. strategic planning & business growth:

• develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company’s footprint in the food industry.

• collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns that support business growth.

• identify and establish partnerships with reliable suppliers and distributors.

4. sales & negotiation:

• negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and suppliers to ensure mutual profitability.

• meet or exceed sales targets and business development goals.

5. operational coordination:

• work closely with the logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and timely delivery of goods.

• monitor the import and distribution processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

requirements:*

• education:

bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, international trade, or a related field.

*experience:*

• proven experience as a business developer, sales executive, or similar role, preferably in the food trading or distribution industry.
