job summary:

we are seeking a smart, passionate, and result-oriented business development executive to drive sales of our industrial metrology products in the northern region. the ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, relationship building, and hands-on sales execution to promote solutions and engage customers effectively. this role offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity for growth in b2b sales, working with both new and existing clients to achieve business expansion.

key responsibilities:

regularly visit customers to understand requirements and present customized metrology solutions (equipment, software, services). prepare proposals, negotiate and close deals while maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.

generate leads via cold calls, emails or other channels and following up with them to identify new business opportunities and fuel business growth.

collaborate with application engineers/product specialists to meet customer needs.

maintain crm data and sales performance reports.

meet or exceed sales targets; ensure both new customer acquisition and existing client retention.

represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

stay updated on market trends, competition, and new technologies.

relay customer feedback to principals and marketing teams.

required qualifications:

bachelors degree or diploma in engineering.

24 years of b2b sales experience in capital equipment (., metrology tools, hmc, vmc, laser cutting,).

strong knowledge of marketing and sales techniques.

excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

strong time management, organizational skills, and self-motivation.

willing to travel across ncr and north india.

able to work independently with minimal supervision.
