Job Description

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Sales (Telecom/ISP) supports the Sales Manager in driving subscriber acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion for broadband, leased line, enterprise connectivity, and related telecom services. The role involves managing field and channel sales teams, supporting key accounts, and ensuring achievement of sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing and executing sales plans for broadband, fiber, leased line, and other ISP services

2. Support and supervise field sales, channel partners, and direct sales teams

3. Drive new customer acquisition and upselling/cross-selling of telecom products

4. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets

5. Handle high-value customer negotiations and enterprise account support

6. Coordinate with technical, provisioning, and customer support teams to ensure smooth service delivery

7. Manage customer escalations related to sales commitments and onboarding

8. Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and coverage expansion

9. Ensure compliance with company policies, TRAI/telecom regulations, and documentation standards

10. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management

11. Act as Sales Manager in their absence, as required

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

2. 36 years of experience in telecom / ISP / broadband sales

3. Experience in B2B, B2C, or enterprise connectivity sales preferred

4. Strong understanding of ISP products such as FTTH, leased lines, MPLS, cloud connectivity, and bandwidth solutions

5. Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office
