As an Air Cargo Executive, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of air freight services. Your responsibilities will include the following:- **Booking Shipments:** You will be responsible for taking inquiries from customers, understanding their shipping needs, and booking air cargo services accordingly.- **Preparing Documentation:** You will need to prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, such as airway bills and customs declarations, to ensure compliance with regulations.- **Coordinating with Airlines:** You will communicate with airlines to confirm shipment details, including pickup and delivery schedules, to ensure timely service.- **Tracking Shipments:** Monitoring the status of air cargo shipments will be essential. You will update clients on their shipment's progress and resolve any issues that arise.- **Handling Customer Queries:** You will assist customers with inquiries about rates, services, and tracking information while providing excellent customer service.- **Maintaining Records:** Keeping accurate records of all shipments, communications, and transactions will be important for operational efficiency.To succeed in this role, you should possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. Being organized and able to multitask will help you manage various shipments efficiently. A basic understanding of air cargo operations and regulations will be beneficial.
