Roles and ResponsibilitiesManages transportation as per the requirement of the Volume DeliveriesScheduling and utilizing the resources of primary transportation optimally and effectively.Manage all Primary transportation activities for bulk and packed materials, from receipt of components into plant warehouses, product picking and dispatching, and to customers, road safety, and fleet management.Consider factors that impact on delivery cost are monitored and issues highlighted.Manage contract with service providers and suppliersImplement schedule and policy etc.Come from a cost-conscious background that helps us to reduce their transport budget further.Supervising documentation of fleet reports, ledgers, logbooks, accounts statements, and records.Desired Candidate ProfileAdaptability: Capable of adopting any given situation and demonstrated personal accountability, strong work ethic and organizational skills with attention to detail.Negotiation and Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Working days: This would require a candidate to work on a 6 days work schedule and may need to stretch on need to need business cases.Able to deal with a high degree of ambiguity.Should have minimum experience of 3 yrs with complete knowledge of managing fleet ( 14 and 16 tyre trucks ) in means of trafficking, drivers tackling, maintenace of trucks etc.Use computer and communication systems: Knowledge.Able to deal with varied stakeholders and earn their trust.
