We are looking for a reliable and friendly room attendant to join our hospitality team in order to provide superb customer service to our guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.To be successful as a room attendant you must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.Key responsibilities:Cleaning guest rooms: Thoroughly cleaning all areas of the room including making beds, changing linens, replacing towels, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing bathrooms. Stocking supplies: Replenishing guest room amenities like toiletries, beverages, snacks, and other supplies as needed. Reporting maintenance issues: Identifying and reporting any damage or malfunctioning items in the room to maintenance staff. Guest interaction: Greeting guests, answering questions about the hotel and its amenities, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintaining cleanliness of common areas: Cleaning hallways, stairwells, and other public spaces as assigned. Following cleaning procedures: Adhering to established cleaning standards and safety protocols. Checking room status: Communicating room vacancy status to the front desk Required skills:Attention to detail: Ability to thoroughly clean rooms and maintain a high level of cleanliness Physical stamina: Capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift Customer service skills: Polite and professional demeanor when interacting with guests Time management: Efficiently completing assigned rooms within allotted timeframes Teamwork: Collaborating with other housekeeping staff to maintain overall cleanliness
