We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional from the inbound travel trade ecosystem to lead sales and reservations for a luxury heritage hospitality setup in Old Delhi.The role requires someone with strong inbound tourism exposure, excellent relationships within the travel trade ecosystem, and the ability to drive occupancy, bookings, and guest experience through strategic partnerships and effective reservation management.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive inbound sales across FIT, group, and corporate segmentsManage reservations, occupancy planning, inventory, and rate strategiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with DMCs, international tour operators, travel agents, and OTA platformsConvert inquiries into confirmed bookings through proposal management, negotiations, and timely follow-upsCoordinate closely with operations and guest services teams to ensure seamless guest experiencesLead and mentor the reservations team to ensure operational efficiency and service excellenceMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to drive business growthMaintain accurate reservation records, forecasting, and reporting systemsIdeal Candidate10-15 years of experience in hotel sales and reservations within luxury, boutique, or heritage hospitalityStrong network within inbound travel trade and DMC ecosystemDeep understanding of international inbound tourism markets and buyer behaviourStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in PMS/CRS systems and OTA managementCandidates should preferably be based out of DelhiImportant NoteCandidates from inbound travel trade backgrounds will be strongly preferredCandidates from domestic travel trade or outbound travel trade backgrounds will not be suitable for this role Interested candidates can share their profiles at:jobs@thepeopleorder.com
