Responsibilities:Customer Service:Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.Sales Support:Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and discounts.Stocking and Merchandising:Ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.Assist with receiving and organizing merchandise shipments.Implement merchandising guidelines to enhance product presentation.Inventory Management:Conduct regular stock checks to monitor inventory levels.Assist with inventory replenishment and restocking.Report discrepancies and shortages to the appropriate personnel.Store Maintenance:Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.Monitor and replenish shopping bags, receipts, and other supplies.Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.Assistance in Visual Merchandising:Support the implementation of visual merchandising plans.Ensure that promotional displays are set up accurately and attractively.Returns and Exchanges:Process customer returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.Verify product condition and handle returns efficiently.Cash Handling:Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change.Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.Security:Monitor and report any suspicious activities to management.Follow security procedures to prevent theft and losses.Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other team members and departments.Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.Excellent customer service and communication skills.
