responsibilities:

customer service:

greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.

address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

sales support:

assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.

process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (pos) system.

maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and discounts.

stocking and merchandising:

ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.

assist with receiving and organizing merchandise shipments.

implement merchandising guidelines to enhance product presentation.

inventory management:

conduct regular stock checks to monitor inventory levels.

assist with inventory replenishment and restocking.

report discrepancies and shortages to the appropriate personnel.

store maintenance:

keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.

monitor and replenish shopping bags, receipts, and other supplies.

assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.

assistance in visual merchandising:

support the implementation of visual merchandising plans.

ensure that promotional displays are set up accurately and attractively.

returns and exchanges:

process customer returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.

verify product condition and handle returns efficiently.

cash handling:

handle cash transactions and provide accurate change.

reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.

security:

monitor and report any suspicious activities to management.

follow security procedures to prevent theft and losses.

team collaboration:

work collaboratively with other team members and departments.

communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations.

requirements:

high school diploma or equivalent.

previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

excellent customer service and communication skills.
