We are looking for a Fitter Turner to join our team in Hosur. This role involves working with machines and tools to create and maintain mechanical parts. The ideal candidate will have a background in fitting and turning and will be keen to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:- Machine Operation: Operate lathes and other equipment to shape and cut metallic parts as per specifications, ensuring precision and quality in each task.- Installation and Maintenance: Assemble and install parts into machinery, ensuring they function properly; troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime.- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints, enabling accurate fabrication and assembly of components.- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct tests on completed parts and assemblies to ensure they meet required standards; make adjustments as necessary to improve performance.- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others on the shop floor.Required Skills and Expectations:- Candidates should have an I.T.I. certification in Fitting Turner or a related field, showcasing hands-on technical training.- A solid understanding of mechanical concepts and basic engineering principles is essential.- Ability to use various hand tools and power tools with precision and care.- Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of performing tasks accurately while adhering to timelines.- A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure collaborative success in projects.
