Safety in combustion control including HAZOP & SIL reviews. Review of sub-supplier offers and post order documentation of Burners, APH, SAPH, ID/FD Fan, Soot-blower, dampers, pumps, SCR etc. The person should have good knowledge of: Relevant codes / standards (API 560, API 530, API 556, API 573, NFPA 85, EN 746 etc.). Typical licensors specifications (e.g., Shell, UoP, Chevron, Axens etc.) for Fired Heaters. Pre-commissioning, commissioning, refractory dry-out and start-up of heaters/reformers.
