Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)Department: Operations & MaintenanceLocation: Anywhere in India Job Purpose:To ensure smooth commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), ensuring treated water meets environmental standards. The role involves on-site coordination, chemical handling, troubleshooting, and client interaction for successful handover and continued performance.Key Responsibilities:1.. Commissioning Activities:Conduct pre-commissioning checks, flushing, testing, and trial runs.Execute system start-up, monitor parameters, and stabilize operations.2. Operational Management:Operate the plant as per standard procedures and ensure compliance with environmental norms.Record daily operational parameters like flow, pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.Maintain chemical dosing systems and ensure chemical stock levels.3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical/electrical/chemical systems.Identify and resolve operational issues and report major faults.Key Skills Required:Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (physical, chemical, biological).Familiarity with lab instruments and chemical analysis techniques.Hands-on experience in ETP start-up, troubleshooting, and O&M.Qualifications:Education: Diploma / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field.
