Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of all project expenses, payroll, and vendor payments.Prepare and monitor budgets for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.Track project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.Generate financial reports related to project performance, cost variance, and cash flow.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collections.Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and project accounts.Collaborate with project managers to review project progress and cost estimations.Ensure compliance with statutory laws, taxation requirements (GST, TDS, etc.), and internal accounting policies.Assist with internal and external audits related to construction activities.Maintain records of equipment and asset depreciation for construction assets.Oversee subcontractor payments, retention money, and labor payments.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter preferred).Minimum 35 years of accounting experience in the construction or real estate industry.Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws applicable to construction.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or construction ERP systems).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
