responsible for generating revenue through the sale of sponsorship packages for conferences by targeting various companies, organisations and associations
making certain number of calls to meet daily kpis, to be set by management
engaging with clients on the phone and developing lasting relationships
oversight of full sales cycle of each event, managing baseline business metrics and growth targets
attend daily/weekly sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required
utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to meet and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference
achieving monthly and overall revenue targets
strategic research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference
develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients
keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors
working with the marketing department to convert inbound sales enquiries into leads
