Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate leads and convert them into sales: The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying potential customers, engaging with them, and persuading them to purchase the company's products or services.

2. Maintain relationships with existing clients: Building strong and lasting relationships with current customers is crucial for repeat business and referrals.

3. Achieve sales targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets is a key performance indicator for the Sales Officer role.

4. Prepare and deliver sales presentations: The Sales Officer will need to create compelling presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the products or services offered.

5. Keep track of sales trends: Monitoring market trends and competition to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Required Skills and Expectations:

1. Excellent communication skills: The Sales Officer must be able to effectively communicate with customers in person, over the phone, and in writing.

2. Strong negotiation skills: Negotiating prices and terms with customers to close deals and maximize profits.

3. Ability to work independently: The Sales Officer should be self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.

4. Basic computer skills: Proficiency in using email, spreadsheets, and CRM software is necessary for managing customer interactions and tracking sales data.

5. Sales experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry, is preferred but not required for this position.
