Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase hotel revenue through direct sales, marketing, and relationship management. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong understanding of hotel operations and a passion for hospitality. The Sales Manager will work closely with the marketing team, front desk, and other departments to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and to meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue for the hotel.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for room sales, banquets, and catering.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.

Conduct site visits and sales presentations to prospective clients.

Regularly communicate with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address their needs.

Sales Activities:

Conduct sales calls and participate in sales blitzes to generate leads and increase visibility in the local market.

Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the hotel and build relationships.

Manage and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and referrals.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that guest experiences meet the expectations set during the sales process.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present monthly sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Analyze sales performance against goals and implement corrective actions as needed.

Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and contracts.
